Do you want to know what makes the COG a great place to relax, enjoy a good hearty meal, and feel a real sense of community? It's the tenacity, positive energy, and drive of caring people that work there, like a great lady named Peachy. Peachy has been working in the COG for10 years and takes great pride in her work. Her main focus is to help the students make good food choices while they are away from home and have the tendency to eat a lot of junk food if left to their own devices. Peachy adds to the richness of what makes the COG a great place ... a home away from home!

It's just after 7:30 AM in Spokane and the Gonzaga campus is quiet. Outside the sky is overcast and there is a light but steady drizzle. Downstairs in the COG, a steady stream of tired-eyed students, many still dressed in pajamas, shuffle towards the market place grill where they are warmly welcomed by Peachy, the cafeteria hostess, who greets them with a warm smile and a big "good morning".
